ACEVO - Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations

NUS Special Interest Group

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are an opportunity for CEOs from a specific sector or with a specific interest to share experiences and develop shared solutions. Each group is chaired and driven by an ACEVO member and supported by an ACEVO member of staff. Each SIG has a few meetings throughout the year where members of the SIG can get together to talk about the latest issues and policy news.

These free meetings are open to all of ACEVO's Full and Associate Members.

ACEVO is pleased to announce a new partnership with the NUS to offer a tailored membership package for Chief Executives/General Managers of Students’ Unions. The package includes free helplines, discounted publications and learning and development resources. There are already 40 Chief Executives/General Managers of Students’ Unions benefiting from ACEVO membership, why not join them?

As part of this deal we are also establishing a this new Special Interest Groups (SIG) for Chief Executives/General Managers of Students’ Unions. These free groups meet quarterly and offer a safe space for leaders with a sector or interest in common to share best practice and to hear from speakers. ACEVO will provide the logistics and a member will Chair. Staff from the NUS will also attend these meetings and contribute.

The first meeting takes place on Monday 11 October at 14:00.
