ACEVO's Health and Social Care conference was held on 14 July 2010. Andrew Lansley CBE MP, Secretary of State for Health, opened the conference by delivering a keynote speech. Attendees heard from the Secretary of State about the new Government’s vision for H&SC and he also spoke about the White Paper launched on 22 July 2010.
Throughout the day attendees also heard from a range of speakers who specialise in Health and Social Care. They talked about working with the public sector, the impact of the financial crisis, Payment by Results, opportunities to create new partnerships and how to provide more value in your services.
