Please read these terms and conditions carefully as some provisions restrict our liability to you.

Terms and conditions of acevo

 
Full, Associate, Affiliate and International membership

Membership of acevo is personal to you and is valid one year from the payment of your membership fees. If you leave your employment, we will transfer your membership to the incoming person in your post unless otherwise advised by you.

Professional development

To gain the most from our professional development programmes,delegates are to attend all the modules for that programme. Missing modules can reduce the effectiveness of the programme, it can also hinder development of peer support networks after the course has finished, which are often a key part of acevo training programmes. If for any unforeseen circumstances a delegate is not able to attend one of the set dates for a module,we try and accommodate the particular delegate as best as possible, by offering to move them into the next available module (if there is space available).Moving one module will incur a £75 administration charge, which will be multiplied for each module moved.

Cancellation of professional development and events

All cancellations must be received in writing by the acevo office (email is permitted). If the cancellation is received more than 4 weeks before the event, a full refund is available. Between four and two weeks, a 50% refund is available. Unfortunately, if you cancel less than two weeks before the event, we cannot provide any refund nor can we issue a credit for a further event.

Complaints procedure

We take complaints seriously. If you have a complaint about our services please contact Abby Wright, Director of Membership on 0845 130 4641 or abby.wright@acevo.org.uk or write to her at the acevo office. After acknowledging your complaint we will try to resolve the issues within 5 working days. If we are not able to do this we will contact you to let you know when you can expect a full response. If at any stage you are not happy for any reason, you may write to the Chief Executive at acevo, 1 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1NU.
