Written and supported by Tribal Consulting as part of our
Essential Guides collection, this guide aims to give
managers a range of practical tools that they can use to
introduce and embed risk management into their
organisations.
Risk management is increasingly prominent on the agendas of managers and regulators in the voluntary sector. And yet whilst there is widespread recognition of the need to identify and manage risk, and a range of guidance on the topic, many managers still struggle when it comes to putting risk management into practise.
This guide aims to give managers a range of practical tools that they can use to introduce and embed risk management into their organisations.
This guidance is based on a belief that staff at all levels in the organisation can be involved in risk management and that their involvement will greatly increase the value of the outputs. Consequently the approaches suggested here are ones that will help that to happen and are not, for instance, restricted to use by staff with particular specialist experience.
