How do you build trust and confidence among your stakeholders? In this seminar we will explore how to trust and confidence is created and maintained, looking at different stakeholder groups, including what makes the public trust a charity more or less. Delegates will hear from experts, as well as having the chance to network with other ImpACT Coalition members. Speakers include: - Rosie Chapman, Director of Policy at the Charity Commission. Rosie will talk about the Charity Commission's research into public trust and confidence in charities.
- Professor Tim Crabbe, Director of Strategy, Substance will talk about how to build stakeholder trust and confidence through effective collection and communication of results.

July 2011 member seminar: Hallmarks of an accountable charity

In this seminar we will explore what a transparent and accountable charity does. We will hear from speakers from leading charities about what motivates them to improve accountability and transparency, how they do it, what challenges thay face and how they over come them, and what benefits increased transparency and accountability bring. Speakers include: - Clare Thomas MBE, Chief Grants Officer at the City Bridge Trust
- Loretta Minghella OBE, Director at Christian Aid
Delegates will hear about what makes an accountable organisation from the perspective of a funder and a charity as well as having the chance to network with other ImpACT Coalition members. At the ImpACT Coalition we believe that accountability and transparency should be led from the top. That's why we call on all third sector leaders to demonstrate their commitment to accountability and transparency in our Transparency Manifesto. Delegates will hear from leaders from some of the UK's largest charities on why they prioritise issues accountability and transparency and how they maintain a culture of openness and honesty. Speakers include: - Andrew Caffery, Accountability and Transparency Manager, Amnesty International UK
