acevo calls for pension reform
Responding to the Treasury's consultation on reform of 'Fair Deal' rules surrounding public sector pensions, ACEVO has called for reform to enable greater third sector delivery of public services whilst ensuring decent pension provision for the staff delivering them.
ACEVO had previously called on the Chancellor to reform Fair Deal rules on a number of occasions, and ACEVO members raised the issue when meeting with Lord Hutton, leading a review of public sector pensions.
The Treasury responded by announcing a full consultation on the issue in the Spending Review. The consultation is available here.
