ACEVO BRIEFING: CUTS AFTER 2015
In July 2012, with debate beginning as to what cuts might be pursued after the next general election, ACEVO held a roundtable to discuss the issue, with presentations from the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) and Ipsos Mori.
This briefing summarises those presentations. It outlines the scale of the fiscal challenge the Government will face after 2015, and how public opinion on cuts and the size of the state is changing.
