These issues can be broken down into three broad areas, each reflecting an aspect of the CEO's role: External relationships. Issues relating to how CEOs lead their organisation's external relationships with Government, the public, funders and other organisations.
Management. Issues relating to how CEOs manage the organisation, its resources and its people.
