Charles Stanley

Since 1792, Charles Stanley’s focus on their clients’ best interests has helped them become one of the UK’s leading wealth managers. With over 20 offices across the UK, Charles Stanley currently manage and administer £24.9bn*, of which £1.56bn* is managed on behalf of over 800 charities.

Charles Stanley’s charity specialists have earned a reputation for meeting the investment needs of many charities of all sizes and across different sectors. We have done this by paying attention to their individual priorities, challenges and needs, creating an investment strategy and mandate that is bespoke to their unique objectives, rather than purely steering them into pre-existing products.

We use a comprehensive and structured investment approach within a robust risk framework. This includes offering the relevant level of environmental, social and governance screening as required. All clients can get instant access to their Portfolios via our investment platform.

For those charities who do prefer a more centralised investment approach, we also offer both active and passive pooled funds via our Asset Management division.

Many of our clients are introduced to us through personal recommendations from our existing charity clients: which we believe is the ultimate endorsement of our services.

Above all, it is the personal relationship and the level of service between the investment manager and their team with each charity that really sets us apart. You will benefit from policy guidance, ethical expertise, charity seminars and trustee training as well as thought leadership through our bi-annual Charity magazine, ‘InFocus’.
