Civil society leaders have the fundamental responsibility of safeguarding and protecting people from harm, and ensure their organisation is a safe environment for all. But how should CEOs approach their fundamental responsibilities for safeguarding and protecting people from harm and ensure that their charity is a safe environment?
In this session, Jane Hobson, head of guidance and practice at the Charity Commission, will draw from her experience dealing with stakeholders – government departments, charities and representative bodies – to talk about the Commission’s concerns in this area and about how CEOs can meet these challenges.
