Digital member meetings

Our digital member meetings are a great opportunity for you to virtually meet peers from across the country to exchange ideas, issues, challenges and experiences in an informal way.

Friday 23 April, 16:00 – 17:00

Round off the week with an informal gathering of leaders, to check-in with one another and share learning. This one hour get-together via Zoom, hosted by ACEVO’s head of member support, Tom Andrews, is a space to pause, reflect and connect.

Tuesday 27 April, 11:00 – 12:00

Topic: Talking about race as a woman leader

This virtual meeting is an opportunity for women leaders to come together and share issues and challenges.

Session 1: New CEO meeting – share and connect

Wednesday 28 April, 14:00 – 14:55

Come together with other new chief executives – who have been in post for less than a year – to share and reflect on the challenges of leading an organisation at this time of change.

Wednesday 28 April, 15:00 – 15:55

This session will consider the governance processes needed to identify and manage risk effectively, and the CEO’s role in managing this with the board. There will also be a Q&A session.

ACEVO and the Centre for Mental Health are running three connected events examining the challenging and very live issue of bullying and harassment at work. This session will cover support for you as a CEO if you have experienced bullying.

This is session for CEOs that have founded an organisation and are thinking about or actively moving towards stepping away from their role.

These member meetings are your chance to press the pause button for one hour. As well as hearing from other CEOs, you will learn about some of the more common ‘red flags’ noticed over many years by co-facilitators Jenny Berry, ACEVO and Martin Farrell, get2thepoint.

Join us for this session facilitated by digital expert Zoe Amar, where we will be discussing how to build a strong working relationship with your digital lead, how to manage them successfully and how you can learn together as your organisation begins on the path to recovery.

A meeting for registered ACEVO mentors to share insights and learning. The session will involve a guest speaker, a short breakout group discussion and a chance to share expertise and tips.

This workshop offers attendees the opportunity to explore the uncertainty around them, to identify how this uncertainty impacts their behaviours, thoughts and emotions, and to look at the costs both personally and organisationally of ignoring those impacts.
