Ways to Wellness are seeking a Chief Executive to lead the scaling up of their work and to drive forward their pioneering project for social prescribing
Ways to Wellness is a bold new venture aiming to improve the quality of life of people with long term conditions (LTCs) by giving them access to social prescribing through an innovative social investment and contracting model.
The CEO will be responsible to the Ways to Wellness Board for the effective delivery of its business goals and the development of its long term business strategy within the context of its wider vision and values.
They will ensure Ways to Wellness realise its vision and deliver the operational plan which will be achieved through meaningful and effective partnerships with Newcastle West CCG and sub contracted suppliers. Multiple Stakeholder management is therefore a key dimension of this role.
They will also have general oversight and direct all aspects of the Ways to Wellness' delivery plan, managing critical milestones and controlling key risks. They will direct, refine and monitor the contract and procurement arrangements to ensure target metrics are met to achieve expected improvements in patient outcomes. Controlling the finances to ensure obligations to social investors are met is also critical.
As this is such a pioneering project in the delivery of social prescribing services at scale, the CEO will also share learning and best practice both locally and nationally.
