Connecting with someone that understands can be hugely beneficial.

Mentoring is a partnership that aims to foster personal and professional growth. It takes commitment and time, but can be extremely rewarding for both mentee and mentor. At its heart it’s about a relationship. A mentor listens and supports the thinking of a mentee, and where appropriate shares their own knowledge, skills and perspectives.

Our peer mentoring can take several forms: 

  • A one-off conversation for up to 90 minutes focusing on a specific issue or experience.
  • A year–long partnership between a mentor and mentee with agreed objectives and commitment. 

We also offer business, financial and private sector mentoring in association with the Kilfinan Group and the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.

ACEVO’s peer mentoring scheme is free service available to all members and is intended to provide confidential space for reflection and discussion. The majority of our peer mentors are ACEVO members and CEOs or senior leaders.
