Menai Owen-Jones is chief executive of The Pituitary Foundation, a national rare diseases charity and leading global pituitary patients’ organisation, since 2011.
Menai has fifteen years’ experience in the voluntary sector, specifically in health charities of all sizes and geographic coverage, including: Breast Cancer Care; Action on Hearing Loss; Nightingale House Hospice and Hope House Children’s Hospices. Menai’s specialist area before becoming CEO was fundraising.
Menai is a Law graduate and qualified director with a Master’s Diploma in Company Direction from The Institute of Directors. She is passionate about her work and charities, and is a fluent Welsh speaker, living in Cardiff and working in Bristol.
