Rosie Ferguson

Rosie Ferguson former chief executive of Gingerbread, the national charity for single parent families, since February 2017. At Gingerbread she is leading the charity through a period of significant organisational change from being reliant on employment contracts to being focused more on what only Gingerbread can do: digital advice and information, single parent peer support and campaigning for system change. Rosie started her career supporting young people into community leadership and went on to be chief executive of London Youth from 2012 to 2016, where she grew the organisation significantly in terms of both income and impact. She has taken this passion for leadership development throughout her career and has spoken at Cass Business School on strategy and change management. Immediately before Gingerbread, Rosie was interim director at Youth Business International. She was a commissioner on the London Fairness Commission and is a trustee of Centre for London. She has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management.

Rosie is based in London and joined the board in 2019.
