Being a CEO can sometimes feel like a lonely and difficult experience. We're here to help you when you need it most by providing confidential advice and support.

This is an extraordinary time. Being a civil society CEO can feel pressurized, even in normal circumstances. We want to support you during this period of uncertainty. No matter what you are facing in your professional life, we are here to listen and support you. You are not alone. ‘Talk to us’ is our offer to get in touch, whatever that is about.

More than a membership organisation, we are a community of civil society leaders and we know the importance of peer support and advice. Our members have access to an online hub, where they ask and offer advice as well as start and engage in conversations on any relevant topics. It’s our own social media, a safety net you can rely on.

As a busy CEO it’s hard to know where to turn to for good advice. Reach out to ACEVO with any questions you have and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction to get the help you need. Whether it’s from within ACEVO’s resources, someone in the team, another member or an expert partner.

If you need support preparing for a challenging meeting, be it with your board, team or speaking at a conference, you can get up to one hour of free advice from Martin Farrell, a coach and facilitator with extensive experience in the civil society sector.

Our corporate partners offer exclusive advice including 1-2-1 surgeries for you in a number of areas, from recruitment to digital, employment law to health and safety.
