“Charities with a gender pay gap, especially those with large gaps, should see this moment as an opportunity to look at the culture and practice in their organisation. Good parental leave and recruitment policies are necessary but will not bring about change if there isn’t a culture in which those with caring responsibilities feel supported, or if recruiters are not aware of unconscious bias.”
