Charity CEO network

Leadership at the top can feel lonely, but you don’t have to face it alone. Every charity CEO deserves a trusted network of peers who understand the role. At ACEVO, we create space for you to connect, share experiences and learn with other leaders. On this page, you’ll find the services and opportunities that help you build those connections — one of the most valued benefits of being an ACEVO member.

The member directory is a new digital space for you to search, connect and message each other. Find peers within your region, operational space, or that has a certain skill set they could learn from. A member-led space for peer advice and support and sharing of best practice and resources.

We have created a digital platform to make it easier and faster for all of us to connect with each other. The ACEVO Community is a space for ACEVO members to share experiences, ask questions and offer advice and support. When you join ACEVO, you have immediate access to the Community.

Meet your peers, share and ask for advice, and raise concerns. These events can happen in different formats: from informal ‘happy hours’ or countryside walks to lunchtime get-togethers over sandwiches or chats over tea and cakes.

ACEVO’s annual conference is a chance to connect with your peers across the charity sector. Whether you attend in person or online, you’ll meet fellow CEOs and senior leaders, share experiences, and build relationships that can support you long after the event ends.

ACEVO is teaming up with Sarah Lynas to offer a friendly and practical peer learning group to help you grow into the confident leader you want to be. The group is small (just seven people max), so you’ll get plenty of time to connect, share and be heard.

ACEVO has put together a resource to support the formation of peer learning groups. Peer learning groups provide a scheduled, safe and structured space, offering the time and space to think, reflect and learn alongside others.
