Charities and voluntary organisations are essential partners for government in creating stronger communities, tackling inequality and improving lives. At a time of significant challenge and opportunity for the sector to demonstrate its value as a key strategic partner, we hope the new Minister will champion civil society across government and help strengthen the relationship between government and the sector.
