Lucas Atkin is Head of Information Law at Stone King, where he advises organisations on the legal and ethical challenges arising from data use, transparency obligations and digital innovation. A specialist in data protection and e privacy, freedom of information, online safety, AI and machine learning, defamation, privacy and confidence, Lucas has extensive experience helping charities and non profits manage sensitive and complex information law issues. For example, he has advised organisations such as the International Rescue Committee, 38 Degrees and Oxfam on matters ranging from data protection and privacy to high‑stakes investigations and compliance.

Harriet Broughton is a Partner in Stone King’s Employment Team specialising in the education and charity sectors. She is able to advise on all areas of employment law, taking a commercial and pragmatic approach to resolving matters. She is experienced in advising in complex matters including senior exits, whistleblowing disputes, and organisational change, including TUPE, restructure and redundancy. Harriet regularly advises clients in the charity sector and is adept at balancing Charity Commission guidance and employment law requirements to provide clients with clear and pragmatic advice.

Matthew Graham is a specialist criminal and regulatory solicitor who leads Stone King’s Criminal Law Team. Widely respected for his technical ability, he is known as a driven, fearless and incisive advocate. His extensive experience spans the full spectrum of criminal and regulatory work, with cases heard at every level from the Magistrates’ Court to the Court of Appeal and High Court. Matthew has particular expertise in fraud and financial crime; he contributed to the drafting of the Fraud Act 2006 and has since handled major cases involving multi million pound carousel frauds, tax and excise evasion, bribery, procurement fraud, benefit fraud and Proceeds of Crime matters.

Rosamund McCarthy Etherington is Head of the Charity Sector at Stone King, with over 30 years’ experience advising charities and not for profits. She has created, merged and restructured organisations, established effective funding arrangements, and both guided and challenged regulators. Alongside long term and technical charity law work, Rosamund regularly supports organisations facing intense regulatory, governance or media scrutiny, and has a strong track record defending the rights of charities and campaign bodies. She also advises political bodies and campaigners on non party campaigning electoral law and co founded the Electoral Law Forum.
