As the Charity Commission and others have highlighted, there is a troubling rise in threats and intimidation to people and property. This is creating significant challenges for charity leaders, employees, and volunteers.
In this session, Stone King will explore how charity leaders can protect themselves, their people and their organisations from harm. This will include safeguarding considerations; protecting the right to campaign, protest and speak out; and responding to emerging threats linked to AI, surveillance and digital repression.
ACEVO partner Stone King is a full-service law firm and recognised as one of the leading law firms for charities, ranked Band 1 by Chambers and Legal 500 as well as being a Times Best Law firm for charity advice. Stone King lawyers act for a wide range of not-for-profits, including national, regional, and international charities, social enterprises and wider civil society, and grass roots campaigns.
