Blog: Performance management in the workplace

Online resource, available to all

When performance dips, it’s rarely just about one person. It’s about how we lead, support, and create the conditions for people to succeed. We have published a blog that explores how to address underperformance in a way that’s fair, constructive, and rooted in support rather than punishment.

From spotting issues early to having honest conversations, setting clear improvement plans, and knowing when to seek legal advice, it’s a practical guide to protecting both your people and your organisation, while giving everyone the best chance to thrive.

Leader insight series: Ruth Kettle, CEO of Inspire North

From aspiring CEOs to those with decades of experience, these stories explore the pivotal moments, challenges, and lessons that shape leadership in all its complexity. Together, they form a growing library of insight to help us lead with courage, care, and clarity.
