Online member meeting
3 March 2027
11:00-12:00
Every charity board carries the same six trustee duties, whatever the charity’s size. What can change with scale is how they are discharged: trustees can delegate the doing but never the duty, and in a staffed charity much of the doing is delegated to you as CEO.
In this practical session Suneet Sharma introduces the 10 Ps of Charity Governance, a two-page map for charities, written to guide chief executives working with trustees, especially those new to charity governance.
• the map in brief: ten headings from Principles to Performance, each with one question for the board
• what evolves: how employing staff, running a group, working with children or adults at risk, or crossing an income band changes what governance asks of your charity
• a chance to ask any questions about the map itself and charity governance
You will leave with the two-page map to share with your chair and trustees, and practical ways to use it in induction, agenda planning and board effectiveness reviews.
Members only? Yes – open to full (CEO) and associate members
