Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
ACEVO hosts a variety of SIGs for ACEVO members operating in health and social care, including a group for CEOs of health and social care organisations, a group specifically for hospice CEOs, and a group for CEOs working to promote independent living. Meetings take place quarterly across the country. For more information about ACEVO SIGs, contact Daisy Bermudez at events@acevo.org.uk. Influencing policy
ACEVO has an influential policy team working to represent the interests of third sector leaders to central and local government as well as policy-makers in the NHS. An example of our current work is the Commission on Personalisation: a group of ACEVO members, government officials and think tank experts looking at the personalisation of public services and reporting to ministers in 2010. For more information on the Commission, visit www.acevo.org.uk/personalisation or for information on ACEVO’s policy work in other areas, please contact Nick Carey, ACEVO Policy Officer at nickc@acevo.org.uk Further InformationFor further information on In Better Health - The ACEVO/DH Programme, please email ibh@acevo.org.uk.
