ACEVO members roundtable: Partnership with and beyond the Civil Society Covenant and Council

Join fellow ACEVO members, including members of the Civil Society Covenant Council, for an online roundtable discussion on the role of the Civil Society Covenant Council and the wider opportunities for civil society leaders to engage with and influence government.

The session will be chaired by Jane Ide, and we are very pleased to have Kate Lee, CEO of NCVO and chair of the Council and Charlotte Hill, CEO of Felix and Council member join us.

While the Council has an undoubtedly important role to play in strengthening relationships between government and the sector, it is one among many opportunities and mechanisms for engagement and influence. This timely discussion will explore how leaders across civil society can inform the work of the Council, help contribute to its priorities, and identify other routes for constructive dialogue and influence, particularly in the context of possible changes in government leadership later this year.

This members-only session will be limited in numbers to encourage meaningful discussion.  Members are invited to register to attend via this form, and to submit any questions or areas that you would like to be discussed in advance. Jane joined ACEVO in May 2022. She previously headed up Creative and Cultural Skills, working to create fair and inclusive opportunities within the creative and cultural sectors. Before that, she spent four years as CEO of NAVCA, where she led the transformation of the national membership body for local voluntary sector infrastructure organisations in England.  She has leadership and communications experience in both the voluntary and public sectors and a genuine commitment to delivering a valuable and impactful experience for members.
