Being a CEO can sometimes feel like a lonely and difficult experience. We're here to help you when you need it most by providing confidential advice and support.

One to one support from ACEVO

As a busy CEO it’s hard to know where to turn to for good advice and to share the load, no matter what you are facing we are here for you. Reach out to our advice and support team with any questions you may have, they are here to listen and support you. member. For full (CEO) members only.                                                                                                     

A confidential and ‘safe space’ service for those who need advice and support on governance related issues. Available only to full members and focusing on your CEO role, this service provides guidance on issues such as improving communication, defining responsibilities, and managing problems with your board.

Our CEO in Crisis service supports you when you believe you are at a crisis point and/or when your job is at risk. We will guide and support you in strict confidence, and help you build a plan of action.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Support from members and providers

Mentoring is a partnership that aims to foster personal and professional growth. ACEVO’s peer mentoring scheme is a free service available to all members. It is intended to provide a confidential space for reflection and discussion with a peer in another organisation.

Our members have access to an online hub, where they ask and offer advice as well as start and engage in conversations on any relevant topics. It’s our own social media, a safety net you can rely on.                                                                                                                    

Our corporate partners offer 1-2-1 advice for our members across a number of areas, from recruitment to digital, employment law to health and safety. For a list of free advice and support offered by our partners, please check this page.
