2026 charity banking survey

CFG has launched the 2026 charity banking survey to track progress and challenges in the sector. Your responses will provide powerful evidence to drive change with banks, regulators and government. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete and all data will be anonymised. The findings will shape CFG’s policy work and practical resources to better support charities nationwide. Please complete the survey and encourage your contacts to do the same.

Impact UK: The size and story of our impact economy

Impact UK tells the inspiring story of the UK’s impact economy, a national, cross sector community bound together by the desire to create positive impact. NPC sized the UK’s impact economy at £428Bn, representing 15% of UK GDP. In the report, NPC explains how it calculated this value, why used GVA, who is included in it, and who at this stage is not. To illustrate the breadth of the impact economy, the team also highlights an impact-led business and the stories of ten remarkable philanthropists whose risk‑tolerant, ambitious capital, combined with close work on the ground, helps drive new and diverse initiatives. “Showcasing these stories brings to life the organisations and people in our community and reflects NPC’s mission to help grow and strengthen the impact economy.”

Make Work Pay: consultation on improving access to flexible working

Following the passing of the Employment Rights Act 2025, the Government has launched a consultation on proposed changes to the right to request flexible working. This is a significant moment. The decisions made now will influence how well the policy works for both employees and employers in the years ahead. As an organisation at the forefront of advocating for better, fairer, flexible work, Working Families is encouraging employers to share their insights. Your experience and voice are crucial in shaping a policy that supports working families while enabling employers to thrive. Please take a moment to contribute by submitting your thoughts.

Funding experience survey

IVAR, home of the Open and Trusting community of 170+ funders, is running its biggest ever survey to understand what it’s really like to apply for, receive and manage grants today.  If you work or volunteer in a UK-based charity, community organisation or social enterprise that applies for or receives funding, take 10 minutes to share your experience.

VCSE Barometer – Wave 13

The VCSE Observatory is pleased to launch Wave 13 of the VCSE Barometer — the largest quarterly survey of the UK voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector. We would love to hear from you in this wave.

This wave focuses on volunteering in your organisation, including whether you have enough volunteers to meet your objectives, changes in volunteer numbers and demographics, how volunteers are recruited and retained, and how changes in volunteering are affecting your organisation. Wave 13 is live between 27 January – 24 February and offers VCSE organisations the opportunity to turn lived experience into collective evidence.

Share your AI views and needs, via CAST’s new survey

The annual AI survey from CAST (the charity that helps UK charities use digital for social good) is now live! For the third year running, CAST is gathering AI views, experiences and needs from across the sector, in order to help shape the most relevant and useful support – and influence the wider sector response. Your insights make a real difference: the results of previous surveys have led CAST to develop a range of support resources, including their AI self-serve courses, AI experiments library and AI hub. Please do take ten minutes to complete the anonymous survey as soon as you can: although it remains open until February, CAST will be reviewing responses throughout – so early participation will help shape and inform activities in real time. Please complete the anonymous survey here: https://wearecast.typeform.com/ai-survey-2026
