Parental Fog Index 2026
Many of the UK’s leading graduate employers say they support working families, but how easy is that support for employees and candidates to find and understand in practice?
The new 2026 Parental Fog Index, published by Working Families and The Executive Coaching Consultancy, finds that fewer than a quarter of leading employers clearly communicate the support available to working parents and carers, while many provide limited or hard to access information.
The findings highlight a growing gap between employer intention and employee perception at a time when expectations around flexibility, care and workplace transparency continue to evolve.
